Fees & Admissions
All admission requirements are based on academic achievement at secondary school level. The students must have the following:
Full Timers:
- KSCE Grade C- (Minus) for the Moi University Diplomas as well as all management courses, D+ (Plus) for other specialized courses and D (Plain) for certificate and craft courses.
- Original official certificates/testimonials i.e. (Result slip/Certificate & Leaving Certificate and an ID or Birth certificate) as well as four recent colored passport photographs.
Distance Learners:
ICM Programs
- · KCSE Certificate with mean grade C-
- · 2 years working experience (At discretion)
- Original official certificates/testimonials i.e. (Result slip/Certificate & Leaving Certificate and an ID or Birth certificate) as well as four recent colored passport photographs.
ABMA Program
- · KCSE Certificate with mean grade D+ (Grade D at discretion)
- · 2 years working experience (At discretion)
- Original official certificates/testimonials i.e. (Result slip/Certificate & Leaving Certificate and an ID or Birth certificate) as well as four recent colored passport photographs.
Course Program Cost
Admission fee: Kshs.6, 500
College Identity card: Kshs 250
Tuition: Unit cost: Kshs.3, 200
NOTE: The courses will be charged at course unit cost. The total cost of each semester will be calculated by totaling the course units. Each course unit will be Kshs. 3,200.
The cost includes manual cost, examination administration cost and correspondence cost.
Other administration charges can be charged as other fees. This however can be changed.

We have four intakes in a year i.e.

Transfer Admissions
- Students who have covered craft courses or certificates courses in other recognized institutions can transfer credits. However, they must submit official high school records and college records.
- The admissions office will evaluate the transfer students’ previous academic work before the transfers can be officially accepted.
- The syllabus covered in the previous institution must be similar with Amboseli Institute syllabus.
Registration
The student is advised about the various courses offered. On producing the official documents, an acceptance letter is given to them detailing the reporting date, the fees payable and other requirements. The duration of the course is also stated as well as the cost implications.
Reporting to the Institute
While reporting the student is to report with:-
- Fees as stated
- Original Identity card or pass port
- 4 recent coloured passport sized photographs
- Writing materials such as fullscaps, files, pens pencils, and hardcover books A4 size
- A mattress, bedding, Toiletries and a basin/buckets and any personal effects (for boarders)
Dropping & Adding Courses
Students, who wish to drop, change or add courses must inform the Deputy Principal with an official consent from the guardian/parent. A student withdrawing from the Institute must inform the Principal’s Office to get consent and clearance for the same.
Cancellation of Registration
The Institute reserves the right to cancel/terminate any student’s registration who fails to comply with the set rules and regulations.

FINANCIAL POLICIES
All fees is payable in full by a bankers cheque or through the Institute’s account. Any exemptions must be approved by the Principal. The institute reserves the right to withhold certificates or academic transcripts and diplomas from any student who has outstanding fees. Students withdrawing from the Institute will not be refunded their fee.
