Amboseli Institute of Hospitality and Technology is middle level institution that is located in Thika town and was established in 1996 on a foundation of commitment to quality and excellence.  Over the years, the students population,the courses and the  faculty has increased by leaps and bounds has  increase to what it is today. Being in a dynamic hospitality and tourism industry, the institution has to remain focused and flexible in order to  maintain market leadership and quality. Today Amboseli Institute can boast of alumni that is working in the best hotels in Kenya, within the East African region as well as in  the diaspora.  This trust that the industry has placed on us demands that we go on an extra mile in ensuring that the graduates are receiving world class skills. The institution has  undergone corporate transformation in networking dynamics and launching of new courses closely competing with other re-known hospitality Institutions. Amboseli has marked its own path as the choice of many youths who have aspired to join the lucrative hospitality careers one intake after another. Currently the institute is affiliated to Moi University to provide centre based diplomas,this enables the  diploma students who have trained at Amboseli to sit for Moi University examinations and progress on to  study their degree at the university as mature students.
